Kambe Green Projects was founded on the 17th February 2017 by Mr. Tivatawena Percy Mathonsi.
The objectives of Kambe Green Projects are to implement greenhouse gas emissions reductions, carbon market and sustainable development goals by promoting the green circular economy principles which address a number of them. This includes good health and well- being, clean water and sanitation, affordable clean energy, industry, innovation and infrastructure, sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, climate action and life on land in the oceans. Currently research is undergoing and compiling of data regarding two major projects which are renewable energy and recycling specifically the lithium ion batteries recycling as the future.
This is moving towards the green economy that will require more energy storage, i.e. electric vehicles, communication devices, computers, laptops and other environmental eco- friendly products which will be manufactured in future. Our company is based on taking pride in our natural resources and protecting them.
It is our intention to render both services and products by converting waste to energy, as well as solving the problem of overwhelming land-filled sites across the country and to promote environmental friendliness in order to enhance economic development.

About The Managing Director And Founder
MANAGING DIRECTOR & FOUNDER
Mr. TP Mathonsi
As the Founder and Managing Director of the Kambe Green Projects, Mr. Tivatawena Percy Mathonsi has over a decade of experience in management and leadership skills, as well as within the security field.
He has worked with the local municipality of Madibeng in the North West province as the Deputy Chairperson of Local Economic Development Cluster within the municipality and was later elected to the Chairperson of Sisonke Cooperative in Maboloka Community Youth Development Programme. In 2011 he attended several environmental wellness workshops in Bojanala Platinum District Municipality.
He finally found his passion by identifying a need for renewable energy, recycling, the requirement for alleviating the illegal landfill sites and dumping, as well as the problem of load shedding. All of which are having major, adverse effects on the South African economy and overall morale of all South Africans. He was challenged to come up with a strategic waste management solution to turn waste into a useful resource of clean energy and other renewable energies from different sources, i.e. solar, hydrogen and wind, which in future will curb and solve the energy crisis. Simultaneously this will also address the high level of unemployment within the country and positively contribute to the dire need of poverty alleviation.
