Synopsis

The incident in which Valya Harkonnen used her voice comes from one of them, titled Mentats of Dune

Anderson. A prequel to the original Dune, it tells the story of how the Sisterhood of Rossak evolved into the Bene Gesserit.

All three books link the evolution of the Sisterhood, Mentats, Navigators, and Suk Doctors. Honestly, the whole time I was watching this show, I felt like it should have been on the SyFy channel.

While you can see that the production value was good, it just doesn't fit the MAX channel, especially given the other big hits

I've heard that you have to read the book to really understand this series, so maybe that's why I didn't find the plot rich or engaging (because I was distracted by everything around me, which is what happens when I lose my attention). Unfortunately, I think this series falls into the category of newer series like Rings of Power (which is even better in my opinion). PERSONA 2024
