A patient therapist starts telling his clients what he thinks
Ignoring his training and his ethics, he finds himself making a huge difference in people's lives, including his own. The cast of "Downsizing" share the key moments that defined their characters in the first season and reveal who does the best Harrison Ford impersonation. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to appear on the show, Siegel said that Goldstein initially wanted a "Harrison Ford type" and that he was going to audition people who looked like Ford.

Siegel told Goldstein that they should have at least introduced him to Ford first, thinking he would immediately decline, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford got the part, which would spark interest from other famous actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn't understand what he did to convince him, but he was excited nonetheless.
Harrison Ford plays Dr
Now two episodes in, this show is showing promise, the chemistry between the characters is infectious, and even, oddly enough, at times... touching in a way that most shows aren’t, and it’s uniquely reminiscent of Community in this element. I’m not sure this accurately represents how the therapist approaches issues, but it definitely gives Jason Segel a chance to contribute.
Rhodes, Jason’s boss and sort of mentor
I wasn’t sure how his character would work on this show, but Rhodes’ antisocial behavior certainly factors into the picture, which Ford does pretty well when you think about the more disturbing elements of his Han Solo character in Star Wars, which just fits this show like a glove. Too relatable, Sean (Luke Tenney) plays a sort of son to Jimmy (Siegel) as he deals with family issues with his daughter Alice (Lucita Maxwell)... What I see here seems so bright, and the possibilities, maybe (?) endlessly when I watch Jimmy figuring things out.
And the music of this show is very good
By the way, the intro theme of this show is so good that I didn't even miss it when I watched the second episode... Overall, it's a great show and I hope it gets better from now on.
