This will mark the third attempt at a television series based on the world of Cruel Intentions (1999)

Synopsis

After being bullied at their elite college, half-siblings Caroline and Lucien try to maintain their power and reputation by seducing the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. The direct-to-video sequel Cruel Intentions 2 (2000), starring Amy Adams replacing Sarah Michelle Gellar as Kathryn Merteuil, was originally a scripted TV series before being re-edited into a feature film. Gellar would later reprise her role as Kathryn in 2016 for the NBC pilot Cruel Intentions (2016), which was not ordered to series.

It follows Cruel Intentions (1999). and then they lost me. I watched the OG.

IT DIDN'T LONG

I even watched many of the sequels after that. They all had one good thing in common... The Greek system was a nice touch, but, GOOD!

The characters annoyed me

And no, I don't just mean the many character flaws they should have. I don't want to watch 8 hours of the same script over and over again in a different package each episode and that's what happens. This could have been a great miniseries or limited series, but 8 episodes with the possibility of 2 seasons??
